حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ رَاشِدٍ الْهُذَلِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ نُبَيْشَةُ الْخَيْرِ وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ قَالَتْ دَخَلَ عَلَيْنَا نُبَيْشَةُ وَنَحْنُ نَأْكُلُ فِي قَصْعَةٍ فَقَالَ لَنَا حَدَّثَنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ مَنْ أَكَلَ فِي قَصْعَةٍ ثُمَّ لَحَسَهَا اسْتَغْفَرَتْ لَهُ ا
لْقَصْعَةُ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عَبْدِ المُؤْمِنِ وَعُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ الْقَوَارِيرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ قَالَ وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صُدْرَانَ قَالُوا ثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ رَاشِدٍ قَالَ أَحَدُ الْمُحَدِّثِينَ فِيهِ أَبُو الْيَمَانِ النَبَّالُ قَالَ حَدَّثَتْنِي جَدَّتِي أُمُّ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ نُبَيْشَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِنَحْوِهِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Nubaysha al-Khayr (may Allah be pleased with him), a man of Hudhail, through his grandmother Umm 'Asim, that he entered upon them while they were eating from a bowl. He said: The Prophet ﷺ informed us that whoever eats from a bowl and then licks it clean, the bowl seeks forgiveness for him. He also said: The Prophet ﷺ informed us that whoever gives his Muslim brother water in this world, where water is available, Allah will give him to drink from the sealed pure wine on the Day of Resurrection.
