English Translation

It was narrated from Abu Bakra (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'None of you should say: I fasted all of Ramadan and I prayed through all of it.' Al-Hasan said his father reported and Yazid sometimes said that Qatada said: 'Allah knows best whether he feared it due to self-praise, or because there is inevitably one who sleeps or is heedless.'
