Hadith #235

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ فِي الْمَنَامِ كَأَنِّي أَسْجُدُ
عَلَى جَبْهَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَأَخْبَرْتُ بِذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ إِنَّ الرُّوحَ لَا يَلْقَى الرُّوحَ وَأَقْنَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأْسَهُ هَكَذَا فَوَضَعَ جَبْهَتَهُ عَلَى جَبْهَةِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Khuzayma ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'I saw in a dream that I was prostrating on the forehead of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I mentioned this to him and he bent down, and I prostrated on his forehead.' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Your testimony will count as the testimony of two men, O Khuzayma.'
