حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنِ النَّخَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْجَدَل

ِيِّ عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ وَيَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ

English Translation
It was narrated from Khuzayma ibn Thabit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Wipe over the leather socks — three days for the traveler and a day and night for the resident.'
