English Translation

It was narrated from Zayd ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ß said: "Whoever gives a life grant ('umra), it belongs to the one it was given to in his lifetime and at his death. Do not make conditional gifts (ruqba). Whoever makes a conditional gift, then it is for the heir."'
