Arabic Text
قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْح
َةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ إِذَا أَكَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلَا يَأْكُلْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَإِذَا شَرِبَ فَلَا يَشْرَبْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَإِذَا أَخَذَ فَلَا يَأْخُذْ بِشِمَالِهِ وَإِذَا أَعْطَى فَلَا يُعْطِي بِشِمَالِهِ

قال يحيى بن أبي كثير و
عبد الله بن أبي طلح
English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn Abi Talhah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When any of you eats, let him not eat with his left hand. When he drinks, let him not drink with his left hand. When he takes something, let him not take it with his left hand. And when he gives, let him not give with his left hand.'
