حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ حِطَّانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخِي بَنِي رَقَاشٍ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّهُ قَالَ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى
اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا نَزَلَ الْوَحْيُ عَلَيْهِ كَرَبَ لِذَلِكَ وَتَرَبَّدَ وَجْهُهُ فَأُوحِيَ إِلَيْهِ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَلَمَّا سُرِّيَ عَنْهُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُذُوا عَنِّي قَدْ جَعَلَ اللَّهُ لَهُنَّ سَبِيلًا الثَّيِّبُ بِالثَّيِّبِ وَالْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ الثَّيِّبُ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ ثُمَّ رَجْمًا بِالْحِجَارَةِ وَالْبِكْرُ بِالْبِكْرِ جَلْدُ مِائَةٍ ثُمَّ نَفْيُ سَنَةٍ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that when revelation came upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he would be distressed and his face would become cloudy. One day revelation came to him, and when it was lifted from him, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Take from me. Allah has made a way for them: the married with the married — one hundred lashes and then stoning with rocks; and the unmarried with the unmarried — one hundred lashes and exile for a year.'
