حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ يَسَافٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْمُثَنَّى عَنِ ابْنِ أُخْتِ عُبَادَةَ عَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا سَ
تَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ تَشْغَلُهُمْ أَشْيَاءُ عَنْ الصَّلَاةِ حَتَّى يُؤَخِّرُوهَا عَنْ وَقْتِهَا فَصَلُّوهَا لِوَقْتِهَا فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتُ مَعَهُمْ أُصَلِّي قَالَ إِنْ شِئْتَ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Ubadah ibn al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'There will be rulers over you who are preoccupied with things that cause them to delay the prayer beyond its time. So pray it at its proper time.' A man asked: 'O Messenger of Allah, if I catch the prayer with them, should I pray?' He said: 'If you wish.'
