English Translation
It was narrated from Buraidah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque and took him by the hand. They entered together, and there was a man reciting and praying. He said: 'This man has been given a flute from among the flutes of the family of Dawud.' And it turned out to be Abdullah ibn Qays — Abu Musa al-Ash'ari. Buraidah said: 'I said: "O Messenger of Allah, shall I inform him?" He said: "Yes."' So he informed him and he said: 'You have always been my friend.'
