English Translation
It was narrated from a man from the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ led the Fajr prayer and recited Surah ar-Rum in it, but he became confused in the recitation. When he finished, he said: 'What is the matter with men who attend prayer with us without purification? It is they who confuse our prayer for us. Whoever attends our prayer, let him perfect his purification.'
