حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ جُرَيَّ بْن
َ كُلَيْبٍ النَّهْدِيَّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ عَدَّهُنَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي يَدِي أَوْ فِي يَدِهِ التَّسْبِيحُ نِصْفُ الْمِيزَانِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ تَمْلَؤُهُ وَالتَّكْبِيرُ يَمْلَأُ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَالصَّوْمُ نِصْفُ الصَّبْرِ وَالطُّهُورُ نِصْفُ الْإِيمَانِ

English Translation
It was narrated from a man from Banu Sulaym that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counted on his fingers or on the man's hand: 'SubhanAllah is half the scale, Alhamdulillah fills it, Allahu Akbar fills what is between the heaven and the earth, fasting is half of patience, and purification is half of faith.'
