Hadith #501
Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا زَيْدُ بْنُ الْحُبَابِ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ أَخْبَرَنِي مَيْسَرَةُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ زِرِّ بْنِ حُبَيْشٍ عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ قَالَتْ لِي أُمِّي مَتَى عَهْدُكَ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ مَا لِي بِهِ عَهْدٌ م
ُنْذُ كَذَا وَكَذَا قَالَ فَهَمَّتْ بِي قُلْتُ يَا أُمَّهْ دَعِينِي حَتَّى أَذْهَبَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَلَا أَدَعُهُ حَتَّى يَسْتَغْفِرَ لِي وَيَسْتَغْفِرَ لَكِ قَالَ فَجِئْتُهُ فَصَلَّيْتُ مَعَهُ الْمَغْرِبَ فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قَامَ يُصَلِّي فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يُصَلِّي حَتَّى صَلَّى الْعِشَاءَ ثُمَّ خَرَجَ

English Translation
It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'My mother asked me: "How long has it been since you last saw the Prophet ﷺ?" I told her it had been such and such a time. She became upset with me. I said: "Mother, leave me — I will go to the Prophet ﷺ and pray Maghrib with him, and I will not leave him until he asks forgiveness for me and for you." I came and prayed Maghrib with him. When he finished the prayer he stood and continued praying...' and he described how the Prophet ﷺ prayed for him and his mother.
