حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا مَنْصُورٌ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ قَالَ نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَل

َيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَشْرَبَ فِي آنِيَةِ الذَّهَبِ وَالْفِضَّةِ وَأَنْ نَأْكُلَ فِيهَا وَأَنْ نَلْبَسَ الْحَرِيرَ وَالدِّيبَاجَ وَقَالَ هِيَ لَهُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَلَكُمْ فِي الْآخِرَةِ

English Translation

It was narrated from Hudhayfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade us from drinking and eating from vessels of gold and silver, and from wearing silk and brocade, and said: "These are for them in this world and for you in the Hereafter."'
