English Translation
Waki' narrated to us, from Sharik, from Abu Ishaq, from Hubayrah, who said: Al-Hasan ibn 'Ali (رضي الله عنهما) addressed us and said: 'A man has departed from you yesterday. The earlier ones did not surpass him in knowledge, nor will the later ones reach him. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to send him with the banner, with Jibril on his right and Mika'il on his left, and he would not return until victory was granted to him.'
