حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَخِي ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ قَالَتْ عَائِشَةُ وُأُمُّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَا النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدْ كَانَ رَسُول
ُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْبِحُ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ جُنُبًا فَيَغْتَسِلُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ الْفَجْرَ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَالَ فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ فَقَالَ لَا أَدْرِي أَخْبَرَنِي ذَلِكَ الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ

English Translation
Ya'qub narrated to us, the nephew of Ibn Shihab narrated to us, from his uncle, he said: Abu Bakr ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Harith ibn Hisham informed me, he said: 'A'ishah and Umm Salamah, the wives of the Prophet ﷺ, said: "the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would wake up in the morning in a state of major ritual impurity from his family, then he would bathe before praying Fajr and then fast that day." He said: I mentioned that to Abu Hurayrah, and he said: "I do not know, al-Fadl ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) informed me of that."
