حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ حَدَّثَنَا الزُّهْرِيُّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ سَعْدَ بْنَ عُبَادَةَ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ص

َلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ نَذْرٍ كَانَ عَلَى أُمِّهِ تُوُفِّيَتْ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَقْضِيَهُ فَقَالَ اقْضِهِ عَنْهَا

English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, al-Zuhri narrated to us, from 'Ubaydullah, from Ibn 'Abbas, that Sa'd ibn 'Ubadah asked the Prophet ﷺ about a vow that his mother had upon her. She died before fulfilling it. He said: "Fulfill it on her behalf."
