حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَّ رَجُلٌ عَنْ بَعِيرِهِ فَوُقِصَ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى الل
َّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ غَسِّلُوهُ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ وَادْفِنُوهُ فِي ثَوْبَيْهِ وَلَا تُخَمِّرُوا رَأْسَهُ فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ يَبْعَثُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مُهِلًّا وَقَالَ مَرَّةً يُهِلُّ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ أَبِي حُرَّةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ وَلَا تُقَرِّبُوهُ طِيبًا
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Sufyan narrated to us, from 'Amr, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas, who said: "We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when a man fell from his camel and his neck was broken, and he died while in the state of ihram. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Wash him with water and lotus leaves, bury him in his two garments, and do not cover his head, for Allah (عز وجل) will resurrect him on the Day of Judgment making the talbiyah.'" And he said on one occasion: "making the talbiyah." Sufyan narrated to us, from Ibrahim ibn Abi Hurrah, from Sa'id ibn Jubayr, from Ibn 'Abbas: "And do not apply perfume to him."
