حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ قَالَ خَلَّفَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ و
َسَلَّمَ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ فِي غَزْوَةِ تَبُوكَ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُخَلِّفُنِي فِي النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ قَالَ أَمَا تَرْضَى أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنِّي بِمَنْزِلَةِ هَارُونَ مِنْ مُوسَى غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا نَبِيَّ بَعْدِي

English Translation
Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (رضي الله عنه) said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left 'Ali ibn Abi Talib (رضي الله عنه) behind during the expedition of Tabuk. 'Ali said: 'O Messenger of Allah, you leave me behind with the women and children?' He said: 'Are you not pleased to be in the same position to me as Harun was to Musa, except that there is no prophet after me?'
