Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ شُعْبَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ أُسَامَةَ بْنَ زَيْدٍ كَانَ رِدْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فَدَخَلَ الشِّعْبَ فَنَزَلَ فَأَهْرَاقَ الْمَاءَ ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَرَكِبَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ
English Translation
Isma'il ibn 'Umar narrated to us, Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما): Usamah ibn Zayd (رضي الله عنهما) was riding behind the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the Day of 'Arafah. the Prophet ﷺ entered a mountain pass, dismounted, and relieved himself. Then he performed wudu' and rode on, but did not pray.
