‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏عَفَّانُ ‏ ‏حَدَّثَنَا ‏ ‏حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ‏ ‏أَخْبَرَنَا ‏ ‏عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ‏ ‏عَنْ ‏ ‏رَجُلٍ ‏ ‏عَنِ ‏ ‏ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ‏ ‏أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ‏ ‏صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ‏ ‏صَلَّى عَلَى ‏ ‏النَّجَاشِيِّ ‏

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from a man, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما): the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the funeral prayer over al-Najashi (the Negus of Abyssinia).
