نُ الْأَخْنَسِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ فَرَضَ اللَّهُ الصَّلَاةَ عَلَى لِسَانِ نَبِيِّكُمْ فِي الْحَضَرِ أَرْبَعًا وَفِي السَّفَرِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ وَفِي الْخَوْفِ رَكْعَةً

English Translation

'Affan narrated to us, Abu 'Awanah narrated to us, Bukayr ibn al-Akhnas narrated to us, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: "Allah prescribed prayer through the tongue of your Prophet: four rak'ahs while resident, two rak'ahs while traveling, and one rak'ah during fear."
