حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَمَانٍ عَنْ حَسَنِ بْنِ ص

َالِحٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ كَانَ الْمَاءُ مَاءُ غُسْلِهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ غَسَّلُوهُ بَعْدَ وَفَاتِهِ يَسْتَنْقِعُ فِي جُفُونِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَكَانَ عَلِيٌّ يَحْسُوهُ

English Translation

Yahya ibn Yaman narrated to us, from Hasan ibn Salih, from Ja'far ibn Muhammad who said: The water — the water from the washing of the Prophet ﷺ when they washed him after his death — used to pool in the hollows of his eyes. And Ja'far saw fit that they sip it (for blessing).
