English Translation
Abu Sa'id the freed slave of Banu Hashim and 'Abd al-Samad — with the same meaning — narrated to us, they said: Thabit narrated to us, 'Asim narrated to us, from al-Sha'bi, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: I stood to pray with the Prophet ﷺ at night and stood on his left side. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ took my head from behind and moved me to his right side. He then prayed and lay down until the mu'adhdhin came to him, then he prayed two light rak'ahs.
