حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ بَكْرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِ
ي ابْنَةِ حَمْزَةَ وَذَكَرَ مِنْ جَمَالِهَا فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّهَا ابْنَةُ أَخِي مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ ثُمَّ قَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ حَرَّمَ مِنْ الرَّضَاعَةِ مَا حَرَّمَ مِنْ النَّسَبِ

English Translation
'Abdullah ibn Bakr narrated to us, he said Sa'id narrated to us, from 'Ali ibn Zayd, from Sa'id ibn al-Musayyab, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) that 'Ali (رضي الله عنه) said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah, you are the dearest of all people to me and the most beloved. The most beloved thing to me is for you to give me your daughter in marriage.' He said: She is yours, O 'Ali. So he married Fatimah (رضي الله عنها) to him.
