زَيْدٍ عَنْ يُوسُفَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ النَّاسِ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا قَدْ أَخْطَأَ أَوْ هَمَّ بِخَطِيئَةٍ لَيْسَ يَحْيَى بْنَ زَكَرِيَّا

English Translation

Hasan ibn Musa narrated to us, Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, 'Ali ibn Zayd informed us, from Yusuf ibn Mihran, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'What right does any of you have to beat his wife as one beats a slave, and then he might sleep with her at the end of the day?'
