حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ وَعَفَّانُ الْمَعْنَى قَالَا حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُ

نَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ أَهْوَنَ أَهْلِ النَّارِ عَذَابًا أَبُو طَالِبٍ فِي رِجْلَيْهِ نَعْلَانِ مِنْ نَارٍ يَغْلِي مِنْهُمَا دِمَاغُهُ

English Translation

Hasan and 'Affan narrated to us, with the same meaning, they said: Hammad ibn Salamah narrated to us, from Thabit al-Bunani, from Abu 'Uthman al-Nahdi, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Were it not that I would burden my ummah, I would have commanded them to use the siwak (tooth-stick) at every prayer.'
