English Translation
'Ali ibn 'Asim narrated to us, Khalid informed us, from 'Ikrimah, from Ibn 'Abbas (رضي الله عنهما), who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever eavesdrops on the conversation of a people who dislike it will have molten lead poured into his ears. Whoever claims to have seen a dream (that he did not see) will be punished until he ties a knot in a barley grain, and he will never be able to do so. And whoever makes an image will be tasked to blow the soul into it, and he will never be able to do so."
