Abdullah ibn Hisham al-Qurashi (may Allah be pleased with him) was a Companion of the Prophet ﷺ who was brought to the Prophet ﷺ as a young child by his mother, who asked the Prophet to take the oath of allegiance from him. The Prophet ﷺ passed his hand over Abdullah's head in blessing. He is notable as one of the Companions who narrated firsthand accounts of the Prophet's conduct in the market and during travel. He is known for a narration preserved in Sahih al-Bukhari in which he described accompanying the Prophet and Umar ibn al-Khattab while holding their hands, and the Prophet ﷺ teaching Umar the proper form of love for Allah and His Messenger above all else. He also narrated accounts of the Prophet's guidance related to daily supplications and conduct. He settled in Medina and transmitted his narrations to the Tabi'in. His reports are found in Sahih al-Bukhari and are considered reliable Companion transmissions.
