السنوسي
Muhammad ibn Yusuf al-Sanusi al-Tilimsani (837–895 AH) was a Maliki scholar and Ash'ari theologian from Tlemcen (modern Algeria). His brief theological treatise Umm al-Barahin (also known as al-Sanusiyya) became one of the most widely studied texts in Islamic theology across North Africa, the Arab world, and West Africa, and was the subject of numerous commentaries. He also wrote on logic, hadith, and Sufism. al-Sanusi's clear systematization of the obligatory, impossible, and permissible divine attributes made his work accessible for teaching at all levels.
