Zayn al-Din Ibrahim ibn Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Nujaym al-Misri was a leading Egyptian Hanafi jurist of the Ottoman period. He is best known for two seminal works: al-Bahr al-Ra'iq fi Sharh Kanz al-Daqa'iq, a comprehensive Hanafi fiqh commentary, and al-Ashbah wal-Naza'ir, a collection of legal maxims that remains a standard reference in Islamic jurisprudence.
