طلحة بن عبيد الله
Talha ibn Ubaydallah ibn Uthman al-Taymi al-Qurashi (died 36 AH) was one of the Ten Companions Promised Paradise (al-Asharah al-Mubashsharun) and among the earliest converts to Islam. At the Battle of Uhud, he sustained severe wounds including paralysis of his hand while shielding the Prophet ﷺ with his own body, earning the title 'Talha the Generous' and 'Talha the Good.' The Prophet ﷺ said he was destined for Paradise after this act. He was one of the six shura council members under Umar. He was killed at the Battle of the Camel (36 AH) in which he participated alongside Aisha and al-Zubayr.
