يحيى بن آدم
Yahya ibn Adam ibn Sulayman al-Qurashi al-Umawi (140–203 AH) was a hadith scholar from Kufa who studied under Sufyan al-Thawri, Sufyan ibn Uyaynah, and other leading scholars. He is best known for his Kitab al-Kharaj, one of the earliest systematic works on Islamic fiscal policy and taxation, which is an important source for the economic history of early Islam. He also compiled works on hadith and fiqh. Ahmad ibn Hanbal narrated from him and praised his knowledge.
