حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ عَنْ حَ
بِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا عُمْرَى وَلَا رُقْبَى فَمَنْ أُعْمِرَ شَيْئًا أَوْ أُرْقِبَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَمَمَاتَهُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via 'Abd al-Razzaq, from Ibn Jurayj, from 'Ata', from Habib ibn Abi Thabit — that he said: 'the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: \"There is no [binding restriction in] 'umra [lifetime conditional gift] or ruqba [reversionary gift] — whoever is given something by 'umra or ruqba, it belongs to him in his life and after his death.\"'
