English Translation

It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar (رضي الله عنهما) — via Yazid ibn Harun, from Yahya ibn Sa'id, from Nafi' — that a woman was shepherding the flock of the family of Ka'b ibn Malik at Sal'. She feared that one of the sheep would die, so she slaughtered it with a rock. This was mentioned to the Prophet ﷺ, and he commanded them to eat it.
