حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ فِرَاسٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ ال
لَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْكَبَائِرُ الْإِشْرَاكُ بِاللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعُقُوقُ الْوَالِدَيْنِ أَوْ قَتْلُ النَّفْسِ شُعْبَةُ الشَّاكُّ وَالْيَمِينُ الْغَمُوسُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Muhammad ibn Ja'far, from Shu'ba, from Firas, from al-Sha'bi — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'The gravest sins are: associating partners with Allah (عز وجل), and being undutiful to parents — or [Shu'ba was uncertain whether he said] killing a soul — and the sworn false oath [al-yamin al-ghamus].'
