حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي السَّفَرِ عَنِ الشَّعْبِي
ِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

English Translation
It was narrated from 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr (رضي الله عنهما) — via Husayn ibn Muhammad, from Shu'ba, from Isma'il and 'Abdullah ibn Abi al-Safar, from al-Sha'bi — from the Prophet ﷺ: 'The Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand the Muslims are safe, and the muhajir [true emigrant] is one who abandons what Allah has forbidden.'
