حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ وَإِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا

عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ النَّارِ

English Translation

Hushaym narrated to us, Abdul-'Aziz ibn Suhayb narrated to us — and Isma'il narrated to us, Abdul-'Aziz ibn Suhayb narrated to us — from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever sincerely asks Allah for martyrdom, Allah will grant him the station of the martyrs even if he dies in his bed."
