حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنْ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ بْنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ جَارُودٍ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ صَنَعَ بَعْضُ عُمُومَتِي طَعَامًا فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّ
ى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي أُحِبُّ أَنْ تَأْكُلَ فِي بَيْتِي وَتُصَلِّيَ فِيهِ قَالَ فَأَتَى وَفِي الْبَيْتِ فَحْلٌ مِنْ تِلْكَ الْفُحُولِ قَالَ فَأَمَرَ بِنَاحِيَةٍ مِنْهُ فَكُنِسَ وَرُشَّ وَصَلَّى وَصَلَّيْنَا

English Translation
Ibn Abi 'Adiyy narrated to us from Ibn 'Awn, from Anas ibn Sirin, from 'Abd al-Hamid ibn al-Mundhir ibn al-Jarud, from Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) who said: One of my paternal uncles prepared food and said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'I would like you to eat and pray in my house.' So the Prophet ﷺ came to him, and there was a mat in the house that had become dark from long use. Anas sprinkled water on it, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs upon it, and he prayed for the family of so-and-so. A man from Jarmuz said: 'O Anas, did the Prophet ﷺ used to pray the Duha (forenoon) prayer?' He said: 'I never saw him pray it except on that day.'
