حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ أَخْبَرَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ سِيرِينَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ كَانَ مِنْ الْأَنْصَارِ ضَخْمٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يُصَلِّيَ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنِّي لَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أُصَلِّيَ مَعَكَ فَصَنَعَ لَهُ طَعَا
مًا وَدَعَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَبَسَطُوا لَهُ حَصِيرًا وَنَضَحُوهُ فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ رَكْعَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَجُلٌ مِنْ آلِ الْجَارُودِ أَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصَلِّي الضُّحَى قَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّاهَا إِلَّا يَوْمَئِذٍ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Bahz narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us, Anas ibn Sirin informed us, who said: I heard Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) say: There was a large man among the Ansar who could not come to pray with the Prophet ﷺ at the mosque. He said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'O Messenger of Allah, I cannot come to pray with you.' He prepared food for the Prophet ﷺ and invited him to his house. He sprinkled one side of a mat with water, and the Prophet ﷺ prayed two rak'ahs on it.
