حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ صُهَيْبٍ

قَالَ سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ الثُّومِ فَقَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَنْ أَكَلَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الشَّجَرَةِ شَيْئًا فَلَا يَقْرَبَنَّ أَوْ لَا يُصَلِّيَنَّ مَعَنَا

English Translation

Isma'il ibn Ibrahim narrated to us, 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn Suhayb narrated to us, he said: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) was asked about garlic. He said: the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Whoever eats from this plant, let him not come near — or let him not pray with — us.'
