حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنِ

ي أَبِي عَنْ صَالِحٍ قَالَ ابْنُ شِهَابٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ أَنَّ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ تَابَعَ الْوَحْيَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ وَفَاتِهِ حَتَّى تُوُفِّيَ أَكْثَرَ مَا كَانَ الْوَحْيُ يَوْمَ تُوُفِّيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ

English Translation

Ya'qub narrated to us, my father narrated to me, from Salih, Ibn Shihab said: Anas ibn Malik (رضي الله عنه) informed me that Allah (عز وجل) continued sending revelation upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ before his death, until He took him during the period when revelation was most frequent. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed away during that time, and his affairs were all settled and clear.
