حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُمْ غَزَوْا غَزْوَةً فِيمَا بَيْنَ
مَكَّةَ وَالْمَدِينَةِ فَهَاجَتْ عَلَيْهِمْ رِيحٌ شَدِيدَةٌ حَتَّى دَفَعَتْ الرِّجَالَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَذَا لِمَوْتِ الْمُنَافِقِ فَرَجَعْنَا إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ فَوَجَدْنَاهُ مُنَافِقًا عَظِيمَ النِّفَاقِ قَدْ مَاتَ

English Translation
Hasan narrated to us, Ibn Lahi'ah narrated to us, Abu al-Zubayr narrated to us, from Jabir (رضي الله عنه) — that they went on an expedition between Makkah and Madinah and a severe wind blew upon them, pushing the men back. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'This wind has been sent upon the death of a hypocrite.' When they returned to Madinah, they found that one of the great hypocrites had died.
