Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَمُوتَ بِشَهْرٍ تَسْأَلُونِي عَنْ السَّاعَةِ وَإِنَّمَا عِلْمُهَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ وَأُقْسِمُ بِاللَّهِ مَا عَلَى ظَهْرِ الْأَرْضِ مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ الْيَوْمَ يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ
English Translation
Hajjaj narrated to us, Ibn Jurayj said, Abu al-Zubayr informed me that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah (رضي الله عنهما) saying: I heard the Prophet ﷺ say a month before his death: 'You ask me about the Hour, and its knowledge is only with Allah. I swear by Allah, there is no soul alive on earth today that will still be living after one hundred years.'
