قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ أَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّ
مَ تَسْأَلُهُ شَيْئًا فَقَالَ لَهَا ارْجِعِي إِلَيَّ فَقَالَتْ فَإِنْ رَجَعْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تُعَرِّضُ بِالْمَوْتِ فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَإِنْ رَجَعْتِ فَلَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَالْقَيْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Yazīd ibn Hārūn narrated to us, he said: Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿd informed us, from his father, from Ibn Jubayr ibn Muṭʿim, from his father, that a woman came to the Prophet ﷺ asking him about something. He said to her, 'Come back to me.' She said, 'What if I come back and do not find you, O Messenger of Allāh?' — alluding to death. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to her: 'If you come back and do not find me, then go to Abū Bakr' رضي الله عنه.
