English Translation
Yaʿlā ibn Umayyah رضي الله عنه narrated: I went on the expedition of al-ʿUsrah (Tabūk) with the Prophet ﷺ, and it was among the deeds I was most confident about. I had a hired worker who fought someone. One of them bit the other, and he pulled his finger out and knocked out his front tooth. He said: "Would he leave his hand in your mouth for you to chew it?" — I think he said — "like a stallion chews?"
