English Translation
ʿAbd al-Razzāq narrated to us, Sufyān informed us, from Ibn Abī Laylā, from al-Shaʿbī, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah رضي الله عنه: He stood up during the first two rakʿahs (without sitting), so they said 'Subḥān Allāh' behind him, but he did not sit. When he finished his prayer, he performed two prostrations of forgetfulness after the salām. Then he said: 'This is what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ did.'
