حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي
عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ الرَّاكِبُ خَلْفَ الْجِنَازَةِ وَالْمَاشِي أَمَامَهَا قَرِيبًا عَنْ يَمِينِهَا أَوْ عَنْ يَسَارِهَا وَالسِّقْطُ يُصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَيُدْعَى لِوَالِدَيْهِ بِالْمَغْفِرَةِ وَالرَّحْمَةِ
Isnad Chain
English Translation
Hāshim ibn al-Qāsim narrated to us, al-Mubārak narrated to us, he said: Ziyād ibn Jubayr informed me, my father informed me, from al-Mughīrah ibn Shuʿbah, from the Prophet ﷺ who said: 'The rider goes behind the funeral procession, and the one walking goes in front of it, nearby, to its right or to its left. The funeral prayer is offered for the miscarried child, and supplication is made for its parents for forgiveness and mercy.'
