حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَن مَنْصُورٍ عَن إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَن يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ أُغْمِيَ عَلَى أَبِي مُوسَى فَبَكَوْا عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي بَرِيءٌ مِمَّنْ بَرِئَ مِنْهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلُوا
عَنْ ذَلِكَ امْرَأَتَهُ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ أَمَا عَلِمْتُمْ مَا قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَتْ مِمَّنْ حَلَقَ وَسَلَقَ وَخَرَقَ

English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Shuʿbah narrated to us, from Manṣūr, from Ibrāhīm, from Yazīd ibn Aws, who said: Abū Mūsā lost consciousness, and they wept over him. He said: 'I am free from whomever the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declared himself free from.' They asked his wife what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had said. She said: 'Did you not know what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said?' She said: '(He is free) from whoever shaves her head, raises her voice in wailing, and tears her garments (in mourning).'
