English Translation

Khalaf ibn al-Walīd narrated to us, al-Mubārak narrated to us, from al-Ḥasan, who said: ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn informed me that the Prophet ﷺ saw a ring on a man’s upper arm — I think he said it was of brass. He said: “Woe to you! What is this?” He said: ‘It is for the wāhinah (a weakness in the arm).’ He said: “It only increases your weakness. Remove it from you, for if you die with it on, you will never succeed.”
