حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَطَاءٍ الْخُرَاسَانِيِّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَيُّوبَ وَهِشَامٍ وَحَبِيبٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَحُمَيْدٍ وَيُونُسَ وَقَتَادَةَ وَسِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّ رَجُلًا أَعْتَقَ سِتَّةَ مَمْلُوكِينَ لَهُ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ لَيْسَ لَهُ مَالٌ غَيْرَهُمْ فَأَقْرَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَيْنَهُمْ فَرَدَّ أَرْبَعَةً فِي الرِّقِّ وَأَعْتَقَ اثْنَيْنِ
English Translation
ʿAffān narrated to us, Ḥammād ibn Salamah narrated to us, from ʿAṭāʿ al-Khurāsānī, from Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyab, from the Prophet ﷺ. And Ayyūb and Hishām and Ḥabīb, from Muḥammad ibn Sīrīn, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, from the Prophet ﷺ. And Ḥumayd and Yūnus and Qatādah and Simāk ibn Ḥarb, from al-Ḥasan, from ʿImrān ibn Ḥuṣayn, from the Prophet ﷺ: that a man freed six slaves of his upon his death and had no other property besides them. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drew lots among them, returned four to bondage, and freed two.
